Light Up Your Yard After Dark With Solar Lights
Solar lights are a great way to illuminate your gardens, decks and walkways at night. Solar Outdoor Lighting can create a whole new look and feel around your home. People choose outdoor lighting for a variety of reasons:

There are a wide variety of solar light types to choose from and prices to fit just about any budget. They are a popular choice because there's no wiring to install and no electricity to pay for. Some solar light sets may cost more than other a typical hard-wired fixture, but because they operate under Solar Power, they will pay for themselves in the long run.
The most widely used type of outdoor lighting utilizes solar power. One of the A nicest features with solar lights is that they can be easily moved to compensate for plant growth or for give different lighting effects.
A couple of options for solar lighting would be:
· Solar Globe lights - These lights are designed to cast small pools of light on the ground. They're ideal for softly illuminating the edge of the patio.
· Solar spotlights – These lights are virtually floodlights that send out a stronger, focused beam of light. These are perfect for highlighting a specific tree, bush or area of the yard or garden.
Before setting up any type of solar lighting you should develop a diagram by laying all the lights on the ground where you want them. You can then make adjustments until the location and spacing is to your liking. Once you are satisfied where they should go, push them into the ground or hand them from an object and you are ready to go. If they don’t look right, pull them up and move them. It really couldn’t be any simpler.
A few strategically placed solar lights in the right places can give your yard or garden a magical feel at night. The simple do-it-yourself installation allows anyone to setup professional type lighting at a fraction of the cost hard-wired assemblies. Installation is simple because there is no wiring and no dangerous voltages to be concerned with. Solar lights can be set almost anywhere to create new focal points for evening viewing.
Solar lights are great addition to your yard. They are something every homeowner should consider.

Do solar lights work in colder cloudy climates?
I purchased a few lights and they have not worked so far. Has anyone had success with Outdoor Solar lights?
yes! but not as bright as it would if it was sunny all the time!
