I need to hook up a kill switch on my Riding Mower
The igniton went out so I have a switch hooked up to the battery to the starter to start it
But I have top put thr throttle all the way up to kill it and sometimes it does turn off
Anyone can tell me how to hook up a kill switch
And I cant do what steven said cause the plug is in the front of the motor and th hood on it is bolted on it the front to hold it on cause the shitty ass fiber glass hood broke on the bottom

If you've been trying to redecorate your bathroom, chances are you've noticed that while a lot of the accessories are decently priced, when you start adding up all of the pieces you're going to need for the bathroom, it suddenly gets expensive.
If you're on a budget, this may have you trying to sort out which pieces you have to have and which ones you can do without. But there is a better answer. Instead of limiting yourself to just a couple of the items you want for your bathroom, try and find out if you can get more of the things you need, perhaps even all of the things you need by buying in bulk or in sets. Now when we say buying in bulk, we're not talking about buying 10 toilet paper holders or anything like that. Quite often, you be able to find a "starter set" of bathroom accessories. These are for people who are just decorating their bathroom for the first time and need everything.
Often these sets will include everything from soap dishes to toilet brush cleaning sets, paper towel holders and the like. Instead of buying each piece for a higher price, say 10 bucks for a towel holder, by buying a set you can often get a savings. For example, most sets have 4-6 pieces of accessories that are only $20-$30. This essentially equates to almost half off of what pieces may be if you purchased them individually. With this said, it is important to make sure you are getting the pieces you need. So, before you go shopping, make a list of the bathroom accessories that you're lacking. If you need a toilet paper holder, towel holder, soap dispenser, etc., write them all down.
Once you get to the store, you can start looking at just what each of the sets offer. Of course, you're going to want to keep referencing your list. After all, if the set does not include the items you need on your list, it may be a waste of money.
There is no guarantee that you're going to find a set with all of the items you want, every time. Most likely, especially if you have a half dozen items or so that you're looking for, you're only going to find a set that may have a handful of them. For example, maybe you need six items but the set you're looking at on the shelf only has four of the items you need. If it's missing the towel holder and a soap dispenser, you still may want to buy this set and subsidize it with the purchase of the two other items. You're still saving money in the long run.
One important item to remember is that not all stores offer the same accessories when it comes to their prepackaged sets. So, it can pay to shop around. If you're in a hurry, you may just settle for what you find at the first store. But if you have time on your side, shopping around may be able to save you a few more dollars in the long run.

1980's era 316 John Deere Tractor - not charging?
Hello and thanks for the help up front. I have a 1980's era 316 era John Deere Lawn tractor with an Onan 2 cyl engine. It is not charging. The bat light is on and I have to charge w/ battery charger ~ every other mowing. What is typically the problem? Is the charging (alternator) also the same as the Starter Assembly? I have heard that is the case. Any help is appreciated. Thx.
It sounds like you have an arrangement similar to that found on the old Wheel Horse with the Kholer engine. The dynamo is belt linked to the Engine Pulley and is run as a motor during start up. I would check the brushes in the dynamo, if it is a dynamo. If it's a flywheel alternator, check the diodes.

what is causing an electrical wire to heat up on a JOHNE DEERE LT155 RIDING MOWER?
I have a wire heating up and wanting to burn that is going to the alternator (stator) . It is a black wire with a diode on it I think. I went to the john deere dealer and they first gave me a stator because they said that might be problem. It wasnt because i put new stator on and still same result.. I took stator back..they checked old one and said it was good..rigged up some diode to put on it. I tried that and still wire wanting to burn up. I think maybe they give wrong diode? I have it figured out it can be only 2 things as all other wires have no shorts and this wire running from the stator is black, connects to a 4 prong plastic connector where it changes to red and goes to the solenoid, Is this wire suppose to be a hot wire where it connects to the plastic connector? I have photos of exactly what I am talking about if someone can help me I can send them the photos. It is in great detail taken with digital camera.
Your solenoid or starter motor may be faulty. Take them to your dealer to be checked out.
