weedeater carburetor problems?

Its a Poulan Pro 4 cycle weedeater. walboro carb. It cranks up with the choke on and when I try to turn the choke off it dies. Fires right back up with the choke on and if I give it a little throttle (right away) with the choke 1/2 off it works ok. A little touchy. So far I cleaned the filter in the tank and the carb filter. I put in a new Spark Plug. No blockage in the exaust or Air Filter. And of course the fuel is new and clean. There seems to be only one adjustment screw and it does nothing but control the throttle idle. Im stumped. Any ideas?

It may not be able to get any gas after the choke is turned off. I would put a new kit in the carburetor and give it a good cleaning. Most of the time, we don't use a carburetor cleaner though. It could be too strong for the small carb. Try blowing it out with an air hose and rinsing it in good clean gas.

How can I fix my Gas Grill?

I have a Charbroil Gas Grill. Last year I always had to turn on the gas and use a match to light it, the ignitor didn't work but other than that it's been a good grill. Went to use it and it wouldn't light. I thought it was out of gas and got a refill, even though the canister didn't fill empty. It still won't work. Obviously seems something is blocking gas from flowing to the grill. Don't know much about grills and their parts but it's a nice, really large grill so I hate to toss it if this is something that is easy to fix. Any suggestions what to check?

Make sure all the connections are tight leading from the gas canister to the flame.
The ports might be clogged - try using a unbent toothpick to push the crud out of the little holes. I noticed once that it was rusting from the inside, clogging every hole over the winter. If that doesn't work, you might need to replace the whole thing. These are available at bigger warehouses like Lowes or Home Depot.
I had a gas grill for a couple of years - it was given to my husband as a gift. I went through a bunch of Spare Parts, ceramic briquet's and decided to go back to charcoal.
Much better flavor and cheaper to maintain in the long run.

Need the output pressure of a car Power Steering pump?

The one on my Farm Tractor went bad and they don't make them anymore, so I was going to replace it with a pump off of a car or truck. One with the reservoir attached, no problem fitting it up to the engine. My pump was rated at 800psi and 2.75gpm.

No where even close Car pumps run in the 300psi and less Group.

I suggest a hydraulic pump from a local builder. They can ramp one up that high for you easily.
I have a number for my guy here in Augusta Georgia and he could probably help you or at least get you someone near you who could.

Is the crankcase part of the Engine Block, or separate?

On modern vehicles, since the mid to late 90's and beyond, is the crankcase part of the whole engine block casting housing, or is it a separate bolt on piece?
Besides the simple "it is part of the engine" mentality, I am simply asking... is it:

1. bolted to the engine,
2. manufactured with the cylinder block, then a Oil Pan bolted underneath

Also, is this (whichever answer) how the majority of all car engines built?
