does this seem like a fair way to decide which name we use first?
me and my husband agreed on two baby girls names that we both love. however i favor one name over the other and he favors the other. the names are Autumn Lucille
I think both of those names are gorgeous, I love them both and I think it is going to be hard for you guys to choose which one to use first. Maybe you should wait until the baby is born and then name her because chances are that when you first see your daughter she will either look like an Autumn or look like a Luna.
Good Luck xx

Solar Lamp Post Lights Are Ready For Prime Time
Solar Lamp Post lights may be the perfect application of Solar Power technology. These lights are typically used to provide light to a common neighborhood area and don't require any power from the local utility to run. They generate all the power they need from the sunlight that strikes them and can provide great lighting all evening from a single charge.
An All-In-One Solution
These solar lamp post lights are a combination of several components that all work together to provide this wonderful free lighting solution. The main component is the solar panel. This solar panel is typically attached to the light's housing in smaller versions of this solar Outdoor Lighting and will convert any sunlight that strikes it into electricity. In some of the larger versions of solar lamp post lights this solar panel is actually attached to the pole the light is mounted on and is somewhat larger in size. It needs this additional surface area to be able to generate the amount of power required for these larger lights.
Charging the Battery
The power that these solar panels produce is then either used to charge a battery in a smaller solar power light, or sent back into the electrical grid in the larger versions. The solar panel may simply use the DC power it generates to charge it's own battery, or utilize an onboard inverter to convert it to AC current so it can be sent back up the power lines. If it is used to charge a battery, this becomes the power source for the light during the evening. If it is a larger solar power light, the energy generated during the day is used to completely offset the power the light requires in the evening. By generating this excess power during the day, the power consumed by the solar lamp Post Light in the evening is essentially free.
Old vs. the New
The bulbs used in these outdoor Solar Lighting products have also been improved. Older versions of these lights used conventional bulbs that required a lot of power to operate and were not very efficient. As a result these older bulbs could not operate completely on the power generated by the solar panels. They would still require additional power to be able to be used all evening. Now that these bulbs have been improved to be much more efficient, they can easily last an entire evening and are brighter and more durable than ever.
Keeping Your Neighborhood Streets Safe
Initially these solar lamp post lights were used by homeowners to illuminate a driveway or darker area of a yard in the evenings. They provided an inexpensive way to allow these areas to be used in the evening without adding to a monthly electricity bill. In recent years larger commercial versions of these solar power lights are being installed by local power companies for use in lighting streets. Because they are solar powered, they are much less expensive to operate over time than conventional streetlights. The savings can be substantial enough that they can pay for themselves in a few short years based on the electricity they save. Over time these solar lamp post lights will eventually replace most of the standard lights that are currently in use. This will lead to even greater savings for local townships as they are able to provide the lighting they require using nothing more than sunlight to power them.

How to find the height of a Light Post using basic proportionality theorem ?
Please elaborate and make me understand..!!!
You need to have something to relate to the light post.
For example.
When it is sunny out objects have shadows.
You can measure your shadow and your height and also the shadow of the light post. Create a ratio using this information and your unknown (x) will represent the height of the light post.
your height / your shadow = lightpost height / lightpost shadow.
You would then need to solve for x and that will give you the light post height.
Hope this helped.

Mark Goodson
Life and early career
Mark Goodson was born in Sacramento, California on January 14, 1915. His parents, Abraham Ellis and Fannie Goodson, emigrated from Russia in the early 1900s. As a child, Mark acted in amateur theater with the Plaza Stock Company. The family later moved to Hayward, California. Originally intending to become a lawyer, Mark attended the University of California, Berkeley, and financed his education through scholarships, and by working at the Lincoln Fish Market, graduating Phi Beta Kappa in 1937 with a degree in Economics. That year, he began his broadcasting career in San Francisco, working as a disc jockey at station KJBS. In 1939, he joined the now defunct KFRC radio station, where he produced and hosted a radio quiz called "Pop the Question", in which contestants selected questions by throwing darts at multi-colored balloons.
In 1941, Goodson married his first wife, Bluma Neveleff, and moved to New York City, where he teamed up with partner Bill Todman. The pair's first radio show, Winner Take All, premiered on CBS in 1946. Outside of television production, Goodson and Todman went on to own several newspapers in New England, as well as radio station KOL in Seattle, Washington. Bill Todman passed away in 1979, and in the early 1980s, the Goodsons acquired the Todman heirs' portion of the company.
Goodson had two children, Jill and Jonathan (1945 - ) by his first wife Bluma, and a daughter, Marjorie, by his second wife, Virginia McDavid. In the early 1970s, he married his third wife, Suzanne Waddell, who had once been a guest on What's My Line?. Goodson also had a brother, Marvin (November 6, 1918 - July 7, 2007), who was an attorney.
Television production
Goodson and long-time partner Bill Todman produced some of the longest-running game shows in US television history. Their first television show, Winner Take All, debuted on CBS television on July 1, 1948. The long list of Goodson-Todman productions includes Beat the Clock, Family Feud, Match Game, Password, The Price Is Right, To Tell the Truth, I've Got a Secret, What's My Line?, and Card Sharks. The shows endured through the decades, many over multiple runs, because of Goodson's sharp eye for production and presentation.
While Todman oversaw the company's lucrative businesses outside of television, Goodson handled the creative aspects of producing game shows. The people who worked for the company and created most of the G-T shows were pivotal to the success of those shows. G-T executives Bob Stewart, Bob Bach, Gil Fates, Ira Skutch, Frank Wayne, Chester Feldman, Paul Alter, Howard Felsher, Ted Cooper, Jay Wolpert, and others were instrumental in making the shows successful.
Many of the actual formats were created by producers working for Goodson-Todman.
Bob Bach created What's My Line?
Allan Sherman (and his friend Howard Merrill) created I've Got a Secret
Frank Wayne created Match Game, Beat the Clock, and Now You See It
Chester Feldman created Card Sharks and Family Feud
Bob Stewart created Password, The Price Is Right, and To Tell the Truth
Jay Wolpert created the short-lived Double Dare.
Goodson-Todman was involved with the 1969 pilot of The Joker's Wild, along with creator Jack Barry, but severed ties with Barry shortly afterward.
The company proved itself to be masterful at games, but were not as successful when they tried other fields of television programs, including the anthology-dramas The Web and The Richard Boone Show, a talk-variety show for famed insult comic Don Rickles and what was possibly the company's biggest failure, a sitcom entitled One Happy Family.[citation needed]
Goodson-Todman Productions were also involved with two Westerns The Rebel (1959-1961), starring Nick Adams as an ex-Confederate soldier who traveled to the West after the Civil War (Johnny Cash sang the theme); and Branded, starring Chuck Connors as a soldier who had wrongly been given a dishonorable discharge from the Army.
For many years, the company was headquartered in the Seagram Building at 375 Park Avenue, New York City, New York. Most of the company's production moved to Hollywood in the early seventies (as did many other production companies), starting with the ABC revival of Password in 1971. The Los Angeles offices were based first at 6430 Sunset Boulevard and later at 5750 Wilshire Boulevard. The company's last New York-based show was the 1980s version of To Tell the Truth, but the New York office remained open and was used for East Coast Child's Play auditions.
A few years after Bill Todman's death in 1979, Goodson acquired the Todman heirs' share of the company, and in 1982 the company was renamed Mark Goodson Productions. Traditionally, shows would sign off with "This is (announcer's name) speaking for (show name). A Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Production/A Mark Goodson Television Production." Today, FremantleMedia owns Mark Goodson Productions (as well as Reg Grundy Productions).
Foreign versions
Many Goodson-Todman games were produced internationally, some under different titles, and were distributed by Reg Grundy Productions Family Feud was known in the United Kingdom as Family Fortunes, and Card Sharks went under the title Play Your Cards Right. In Germany, Match Game was known as Schnick Schnack (loosely translated, "something, anything" and used as a counterpart for the word "blank", for which there is no direct word in German).
Most Grundy-produced counterparts of Goodson-Todman games had low payouts, but made up for it with almost-identical sets (such as the 1980s Australian Feud or, in a more accurate example, Blankety Blanks) or unique sets of their own (such as Family Fortunes).
Music and announcers
The music for several Goodson-Todman shows was composed by Bob Cobert. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, the bulk of the music for G-T shows was created by Bob Israel's Score Productions and/or Edd Kalehoff. Announcers Johnny Olson and Gene Wood were frequently heard on Goodson-Todman shows. Other announcers over the years included Rod Roddy, Bob Hilton, Burton Richardson, Rich Jeffries, John Harlan, Jack Clark, Jack Narz, Art James, Don Pardo, Bern Bennett, Bill Wendell, Lee Vines, Wayne Howell, Chet Gould, Rich Fields, and Johnny Gilbert. Ed McMahon made his network announcing debut on Two For The Money, where he succeeded Kenny Williams, who would go on to be the primary announcer for the game shows produced by Merrill Heatter & Bob Quigley.

Post Mark Goodson
Death
Mark Goodson died of pancreatic cancer on the morning of December 18, 1992 at the age of 77 in New York City. He is buried at Hillside Memorial Park in Culver City, California, where the inscription on his gravestone is designed to resemble the Goodson-Todman/Mark Goodson Productions logo.
Aftermath of Mark Goodson Productions
Three years after Mark Goodson's death, his family sold the rights to the library of shows to a company called All American Television in order to pay off a hefty estate tax[citation needed]. AATV acquired 50% of the company that year, and acquired the rest a year later. AATV was bought out by rival communications company Pearson Television in 1997, which, in turn, was acquired by RTL Group subsidiary FremantleMedia four years later (at one time, one of the company's predecessors, Fremantle International, was the distributor of Goodson-Todman game shows internationally). FremantleMedia now owns the rights to the Goodson-Todman library of game shows. While The Price Is Right and Family Feud continue in production to this day, other classic Goodson-Todman shows have found a new life and a new audience in reruns on cable TV's Game Show Network. The only omissions from the library are the 1973 and 1987 versions of Concentration, which were licensed from NBC.
Goodson's son Jonathan has continued with new game show concepts. He joined the company in 1973 as legal counsel, but began production work with the company's shows, including the original version of Card Sharks; eventually producing the 1990 version of Match Game. He stayed through corporate takeovers until 1998. He left to begin his own production company, Jonathan Goodson Productions, which produces both state lottery game shows and original game show concepts, with 2003's Dirty Rotten Cheater being the newest Goodson game, having already been sold internationally. Another Goodson game Cram was produced for GSN and ran for two seasons. Jonathan has the distinction of being the most successful lottery game show producer in the country, with games such as Illinois Instant Riches/Illinois' Luckiest (Illinois), Flamingo Fortune (Florida), Bonus Bonanza (Massachusetts), NY Wired (New York), and The Big Spin (California).
For the sake of tradition, and through special permission from FremantleMedia, certain revivals and/or continuances of the Goodson-Todman shows continued the Mark Goodson Productions name, logo and announcement at the end of each episode, even though the original production company no longer existed. This practice was ended in 2002 with two of the three programs still in production at the time, To Tell the Truth and Family Feud, and ultimately ended in June 2007 when The Price Is Right stopped using the logo with the retirement of host Bob Barker.
The Price Is Right was the last surviving show that used the Mark Goodson Production name, logo, and announcement until Bob Barker retired in 2007. The first episode of the 2007-2008 season (15-Oct-2007) features the FremantleMedia name, logo, and announcement. All CBS press releases for the show currently refer to the show as "a Mark Goodson Production, in association with FremantleMedia".
The 1998 Match Game revival used the Mark Goodson Productions name and logo, but used an alternate announcement: "This has been a Mark Goodson Television Production for...", followed by the Pearson logo.
On the first three seasons (1999-2002) of the current production of Family Feud, along with the 2000-2002 version of To Tell the Truth, the logo and name were used, but not the announcement.
The 2001-2002 Card Sharks revival used the Mark Goodson Productions name, logo and announcement.
Newer versions of other Goodson-Todman properties such as Beat the Clock (2002) and Password (2008, as Million Dollar Password), however, did not incorporate elements of the logo, name or announcement.

About the Author
I am an expert from China Crafts Suppliers, usually analyzes all kind of industries situation, such as ford expedition club , import cars wallpaper.
I have a set of Titleist DC1 irons with tri-spec reg shafts and original golf pride half cord grips.?
I am thinking do I reshaft these older heavy shafts to light steel and re grip- as current grips are 13 years old and kill my hands now-
Or just bite bullet and buy a set of these new game improver clubs- which i have tried and some days love and some days not sure sure-
Guess its a common question - I am 59 have played golf from age 16 with blades originally- best 12 handicap- probably 20 today-
any thoughts guys?
Gareth
Why is it that so many want to re shaft clubs when they haven't the slightest inkling why those shafts were matched with the heads and grips in the first place ? If you are moderately successful with the present clubs, re grip them with a softer feeling material. If you think the " new " technology will improve your ability to score, purchase the technology. In the final analysis, the mechanic's ability is what gets the results from the tools, not the other way around.

The 1995 Avalon was a completely new model, built in the same plant as the Camry. The Avalon was based on a stretched Camry platform featuring a 3.0-litre 1MZ-FE V6 engine making 192 hp (140 kW) and 210 lbft (285 Nm) of torque.
19981999 Toyota Avalon XLS
The Avalon was available with a front bench seat for full six-passenger seating, and its column shifter was the first such feature in an American Toyota car since the 1982 Corona. Traction control was optional. For 1997 models ABS became standard, power rating increased to 200 hp (150 kW), and torque increased to 214 lbft (290 Nm). In 1998 a mid-cycle refresh was made with minor updates to the front and rear fascias. Also for 1998, the Avalon's structure was modified to improve safety while front seat-mounted side airbags became standard.

Australia (20002005)
Updated Australian 20042005 Toyota Avalon GXi
In 1999, Toyota sold the old tooling for the Avalon to Toyota Australia, which launched this Avalon as an "all-new" model in June 2000. The Australian Avalon therefore had an identical body to the original 1995 Avalon. The Australian model was built in the Melbourne suburb of Altona, made in both right-hand drive (for Australia, New Zealand and some parts of Asia) and left-hand drive for the Middle East. The Camry was also made at this plant. The Avalon performed poorly in Australia; critics called the car "boring", and sales were tepid. The Avalon was front-Wheel Drive and available only as a sedan with a 3.0 litre V6 and automatic transmission. By contrast, its intended rivals, the Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore, offered a wider range of body styles and engine/transmission options.
Many buyers preferred the V6-powered Camry instead of the Avalon, and the 2004 facelift failed to rectify the lower than expected sales, with many criticizing the new front styling. Because of these sales concerns, Toyota Australia marketed it towards taxi fleets, against the Ford Falcon, with a specially developed dual-fuel (LPG and petrol)-compatible engine. Avalon production ceased in mid-2005. In November 2006, Toyota introduced its replacement, the Toyota Aurion.

The second-generation Avalon grew larger in almost every respect. It was still based on the stretched Camry platform and was powered by a 3.0 litre 1MZ-FE V6 engine equipped with VVT-i, shared with the Toyota Sienna, Lexus RX300, Lexus ES, and the Toyota Highlander, making 210 hp (157 kW) and 220 lbft (298 Nm). of torque and paired to a 4-speed automatic. The styling remained conservative to appeal to older buyers and the coefficient of drag had been reduced to 0.28 Cd.
200304 Toyota Avalon XLS.
This Avalon was available in two trims: the basic XL and the upscale XLS. Standard features include electroluminescent Optitron gauges, 4-wheel disc ABS, front torso side airbags and 15" alloy wheels. Optional features include a JBL audio system, Vehicle Stability Control, and a front row bench seat, allowing up to six passengers distinguishable characteristic of large sized cars. However the front center seat is a tight fit for an adult passenger. Dual climate control, stability control, larger 16" wheels, and driver's and passenger's power seats were also available.
This second-generation Avalon also featured a built-in 115V AC power inverter, the first car with such a feature. This feature was dropped in the third-generation Avalon; yet, the Toyota Matrix and Scion models now offer this feature.
The Avalon received a mid-cycle facelift for the 2003 model year, with a new grille and modified headlights and taillights. The minor interior changes included a woodgrain-style trimmed Steering Wheel for the XLS, slightly modified gauges, and a chrome emblem steering wheel added onto the XL (once only standard for the XLS).
This second-generation Avalon was exported to the Japanese market, where it was sold as the Toyota Pronard. Due to poor sales, Toyota did not export the third-generation Avalon to Japan; thus, the Toyota Pronard has been discontinued.
In the IIHS frontal crash test the Avalon received a "Good" overall score with the "Good" in all six measured categories.

Toyota's third-generation Avalon underwent a complete redesign in 2005, and was unveiled to the public at the 2005 North American International Auto Show, it went on sale the following February. Toyota reportedly cut the Avalon's development time down from 29.5 months to 18 months.
The new Avalon was larger than previous Avalons in every aspect, featuring less conservative more modern Calty styling, with a coefficient of drag figure of 0.29 Cd, the Avalon also became the first Toyota to use a single piece wiper blade design. For safety reasons the redesign dropped the front bench seat option, a feature once common among large American sedans such as Buicks and in order to help increase rear passenger comfort the Avalon featured a flat rear floor.
The Avalon was the first Toyota to use Dual VVT-i in the US market in an all-new 3.5-liter 2GR-FE V6 engine which met ULEV certification and had a power output of 280 hp (209 kW). The engine was mated to a 5-speed sequential shift automatic. Due to changes in the SAE's testing procedures, power dropped to 268 hp (200 kW) and torque dropped to 248 lbft (336 Nm) for the 2006 model year. The Avalon came in four trims, a standard XL trim, a sporty Touring trim, an XLS trim and a premium Limited trim. The XL model came standard with 16" alloy wheels, while other trims came with larger 17" wheels. Performance oriented tires were fitted to the Touring and Limited trim.
The XL introduces standard features such as dual-climate automatic temperature control and steering wheel-mounted audio and climate controls. The Touring trim offers faux aluminum and black leather interior, a sport-tuned suspension, and a trunk lip-mounted spoiler. The XLS introduces standard cargo nets, six-disc CD changer, a power moonroof, electrochromic auto dimming rear-view and driver's side-view mirrors, four-way passenger power seat and a HomeLink transceiver. The high-end Limited trim offers air-ventilated seats with a power driver's Seat Cushion length adjuster, Toyota's Smart Key System with keyless push-button start and entry, an acoustic windshield, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an upgraded 12-speaker JBL audio system, "in-glass" LED turn signals on the side mirrors and a wood-trimmed steering wheel and shift gear. A navigation system is optional for every trim other than the XL version. The Avalon features a flat rear floor design and reclining rear seats. Vehicle Stability Control is optional on all trim levels. Other options include a keyless Remote Engine Start, rear window power sunshade and on Limited models a Dynamic Laser Cruise Control system. HID lighting with auto leveling was standard on Touring and Limited grades.
Model year changes
For 2008, the Avalon received a mild mid-cycle refresh. Changes include a six-speed automatic transmission, chrome exterior door handles for the Limited trim, restyled alloy wheels for the Touring and XLS trims, a built-in remote key, upgraded rear brakes, and Bluetooth integration with all JBL Synthesis audio systems. Rear taillights receive subtle tinting, and the front fascia is redesigned with a more striking grille; XL models receive a black grille, Touring models receive a color-keyed grille, and XLS and Limited models receive a chrome grille. All models now have a standard in-dash 6-CD changer.
The 2009 Avalon offers a few changes. Vehicle Stability Control became standard on all trim levels, and the Touring version is no longer offered. XLS and Limited leather seats now offer a Dark Charcoal color, and the Indigo Ink Pearl exterior color has been replaced with Cocoa Bean Metallic.
The 2010 model year offers one minimal update. All passenger windows now receive an automatic up/down function, as opposed to just the driver and front passenger's side.
2011 model
For the 2011 model year the Avalon has been updated and significantly restyled with a more contemporary look. Making its first appearance at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show sales will begin the following April with only two trimlines: a base Avalon model and a more upscale Limited trim. A backup camera is now standard using either the rear view mirror or navigation screen for a display, and exterior side mirrors now fold. The updated navigation system now features real-time traffic updates. Other new features include redesigned instrument cluster and center console, new wood trim, and a different rear fascia design. Fuel economy has been slightly improved to an EPA-estimated 20/29/23 (city/highway/combined) rating.
Safety
The Avalon comes standard with anti-lock brakes, electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, dual front airbags, front row side torso airbags, front and rear side curtain airbags, and a driver's knee airbag. For 2009 models Vehicle Stability Control, traction control became standard while active head restraints were added. For 2011 the Avalon comes with a brake override feature.
The Avalon received a "Good" overall score in both the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety frontal offset and side impact tests. In 2009, with the new head restraints the IIHS awarded the Avalon its Top Safety Pick accolade.

Media reception
Car and Driver, which had called previous Avalons "Japanese Buicks," rated it at the top of a group of large premium sedans in 2005. Edmunds.com, Motor Trend and Automobile Magazine also rated it top in their own comparisons. Consumer Reports rated the Avalon at the top of its class in the large and upscale category, scoring ahead of five other sedans in the January 2010 issue.
