Yes you can adjust the governor vane but first see if it is still spring loaded by flicking it with your finger. if it is good there is a white or black ratchet at the bottom of it reach both index fingers behind the carb on each side and spin it to put more tension on the spring. if it is just flopping around get a new spring.

Knife Sharpening Experts: Amazing Ceramic Knives

When I first heard about ceramic knives, I couldn't believe it. I know that ceramic statues that fall shatter into many pieces. Why would a ceramic knife be any different? Boy was I wrong. Ceramic knives are much stronger than I thought.

Ceramic knives are made out of zirconium oxide. They aren't metallic whatsoever and have a flat, off-white to bright white color. Their composition is much harder than steel. Actually, they're second only to diamonds, which are the hardest mineral of all. Isn't that something?

There is another class of ceramic knives that have black blades. These blades start out as white zirconium oxide. With an additional firing process called sintering, they are converted into black zirconium carbide. This process gives the blades the advantage of being even tougher than before. Now they are the strongest knives out there.

There are definite advantages of ceramic knives over steel knives.

?Edge Longevity. Because ceramic knives are harder than steel knives, they can hold a sharp edge much longer. Generally, most ceramic knives can hold their edge for months if used correctly.

?Easy Use. Because they hold their edges longer, ceramic knives are easier to use than steel knives. Less sharpening is required. Not only that, they are so much lighter than steel knives.

?Wear Resistance. Ceramic knives do not stain or rust. They will not become discolored by food acides.

?Chemically non-reactive. You needn't worry over whether or not your food will taste or smell like metal. Isn't that great?

?Simple To Clean. Ceramic knives are non-stick. It isn't ever necessary to use special cleaners or abrasives to get them clean.

Just as there are advantages, there are a few pretty important disadvantages to using ceramic knives.

?Expensive. Ceramic knives are usually more costly than steel knives. This is because zirconium oxide is a fairly advanced material and costs more than steel. In addition, imported ceramic knives, as most of them are, have a high import tax that adds to their price tag.

?Edge Fragility. Quality ceramic knives are not likely to shatter when dropped. They are, however, likely to gain a chipped edge or a broken tip. Even though ceramic knives are very strong, their edges are quite fragile. Cutting bone or anything of similar hardness, then, is out of the question.

?Breakable Blades. If you use your ceramic knife as a prying tool, you've got a very good chance of snapping the blade at the handle. Just don't do it. While your knife isn't meant for prying, the fact that the blade could actually snap in two when strong pressure is applied leaves room for concern. Use it only for cutting.

All in all, you are advised not to sharpen ceramic knives. When customers purchase ceramic knives, they are urged to let the manufacturers be the ones to sharpen them up. If that isn't possible, they're advised to bring their ceramic knives to a machine shop.

Sharpening a ceramic knife is not the same as sharpening a steel knife. It is a whole new animal. You've really got to already be a skilled sharpener. However, with good skill and the right tools, you really could sharpen them yourself.

Ceramic knives are truly amazing. They are highly efficient. Usability may be limited, but where you can use it, watch out. They are quite extraordinary.

I have lawn boy mower. When try to start gas is coming out muffler. Of course won't start. Is it a bad float?

There has to be trash in the gas that has gotten in to the Gas Tank on the mower and has gotten in the float orifice and is keep the float open, Are the float has a leak and has filled with gas and is keeping the float open. at this point you will have to determine if you can do the work or send it out. You will need to remove the carburetor and take it apart to check it out. You can clear it out and put it back together or get a Carburetor Rebuild kit, and install it, or just get a new carburetor. I do not know about you,But I have figure out that I am ahead to buy a new lawn morrow ever 3 or 4 years as to tring to keep a old one running.

i have a Honda Engine lawn boy and it only runs on choke?

i cleaned the carburetor completly and saw no adjustments, Air Filter is fine, its a GCV self-propelled Push Mower. it runs too when i stick my finger in the intake. i dont really see the Fuel Filter unless its where the Gas Line has a Shut Off switch. i blow into the Fuel Line and its not clogged

if it has gas in it there has got to be a clog. honda carbs are picky too you have to really make sure its all clean. could be the Float Valve is stuck too but its likely you would notice that. pull the bowl back off and see if there is lots of gas in it. if so its a jet/emulsion tube clog for sure. honda uses a sediment bowl most often + a screen in the tank for filtration. make sure you have fresh gas old gas can do that actually.

What women want is to be wooed and wowed by men. Unfortunately, too many women are falling prey to these "thug loves" - they usually end up emotionally and sometimes even physically abused.

 

These so-called "bad boys" are winning women over simply because they are assertive, confident, cocky, and competitive. In of itself these are not all bad traits, but mixed with the definition of a bad boy: selfish, dishonest, arrogant, abusive, irresponsible...

 

The bad boy image is not something that men should strive to achieve. Once you're labeled as a bad boy, it's a hard persona to shake.

 

Basically, everyone is walking around like an advertisement for who she or he is. First impressions are vitally important. If all someone sees is cocky and arrogant - than boom that's your brand.

 

A woman I met recently at a cocktail party leaned into me, eyed me coyly, and uttered in a somewhat slurred and raspy voice, "why is it I always fall for the bad boys." She then proceeded to tell me about an arrogant garish man she met at a caf? in London. "I was sitting alone enjoying my tea, when James and I met. He looked at me and I melted, he then said 'what are you looking at you stuck-up American Bitch.' That was it she said, in an even more slurred and vacant tone 'I was in love.'" For added effect, she feigned fainting.

 

I found this fascinating; if a guy said that to me I would perhaps be speechless, (it happens) I would certainly not be attracted to him - but rather disgusted. I have never felt any frisson of attraction with an overtly bad boy.

 

Her story rapidly deteriorated. They ended up dating for 6 months, he treated her horrible and it finally ended when he hit her. Awful. So yes, some women will fall for and stay with bad boys. Obviously, these women lack sound judgment and have major self-esteem issues. Hopefully, not anyone's ultimate goal in a date, even if you are only looking for a one night stand. Sure, you may score, but...

 

Most women do not want to be crudely manipulated by men. That's not to say that all manipulation is bad - it just needs to be subtle and caressing like a masseur - not whipped into submission like a hunk of abalone...

 

Men are so much more alluring when they have a combination of confidence intertwined with that cocky/funny thing and frosted with a sort of sexy vulnerability. Women do not want to be with men who are known players. Being with a man who is a player does not satisfy our ego.

 

I like well-rounded men that have a bit of a twisted sense of humor, are inherently kind, interested and versed on political, psychological, and spiritual matters.

What is it really? It's an excuse to give themselves a "happy injection" by picking up a nice new something from the store.

 

And then, after the buzz of getting something new has worn off, they find another reason to be unhappy about something else. The cycle starts again, from happy... to emotional disquiet... and back again.

 

I know a guy who would joke with women by dangling his bracelet in front their eyes like a hypnotist and say, "Loooook.... shiny! Pretty thing! Follow the shiny object! Good girl!"

 

The whole time he's holding it in front of their faces, most of the girls would just laugh because they realize that he's being funny, but he's also right. Women LIKE flashy visual images. Pictures on glossy magazines... flashy commercials... Shiny jewelry. (Who says women aren't visual? It's just for different reasons than men.)

 

Bad Boys are like this, too. They give women a spike to the vein, a quick injection of excitement and turmoil that will feed their emotional engine for weeks. Many women outgrow this need, but a lot of women never will.

 

I would add to "C"s interpretation that "a bit naughty" is subjective. But naughty MUST be in the mix if you want to spark her excitement and attraction.

Twisted and Heathers are the movies he played as a bad boy.

I like both of them since he plays psychotic characters in those movies.

I like when he plays psychotic character's I think he has that devious Jack Nicholson look. Heathers was always one of my favorite movies, I never saw Twisted.
