I need to hook up a kill switch on my Riding Mower
The igniton went out so I have a switch hooked up to the battery to the starter to start it
But I have top put thr throttle all the way up to kill it and sometimes it does turn off
Anyone can tell me how to hook up a kill switch
And I cant do what steven said cause the plug is in the front of the motor and th hood on it is bolted on it the front to hold it on cause the shitty ass fiber glass hood broke on the bottom
and I need a real kill switch like an toggle switch
Alot of kill switches kill the power to Spark Plug. Try a cable tie on the spark plug wire with a long tail after tightening it. Just pull it off and the engine will die instantly.

Instead of buying each piece for a higher price, say 10 bucks for a towel holder, by buying a set you can often get a savings. For example, most sets have 4-6 pieces of accessories that are only $20-$30. This essentially equates to almost half off of what pieces may be if you purchased them individually. With this said, it is important to make sure you are getting the pieces you need. So, before you go shopping, make a list of the bathroom accessories that you're lacking. If you need a toilet paper holder, towel holder, soap dispenser, etc., write them all down.
Once you get to the store, you can start looking at just what each of the sets offer. Of course, you're going to want to keep referencing your list. After all, if the set does not include the items you need on your list, it may be a waste of money.
There is no guarantee that you're going to find a set with all of the items you want, every time. Most likely, especially if you have a half dozen items or so that you're looking for, you're only going to find a set that may have a handful of them. For example, maybe you need six items but the set you're looking at on the shelf only has four of the items you need. If it's missing the towel holder and a soap dispenser, you still may want to buy this set and subsidize it with the purchase of the two other items. You're still saving money in the long run.
One important item to remember is that not all stores offer the same accessories when it comes to their prepackaged sets. So, it can pay to shop around. If you're in a hurry, you may just settle for what you find at the first store. But if you have time on your side, shopping around may be able to save you a few more dollars in the long run.

1980's era 316 John Deere Tractor - not charging?
Hello and thanks for the help up front. I have a 1980's era 316 era John Deere Lawn tractor with an Onan 2 cyl engine. It is not charging. The bat light is on and I have to charge w/ battery charger ~ every other mowing. What is typically the problem? Is the charging (alternator) also the same as the Starter Assembly? I have heard that is the case. Any help is appreciated. Thx.
It sounds like you have an arrangement similar to that found on the old Wheel Horse with the Kholer engine. The dynamo is belt linked to the Engine Pulley and is run as a motor during start up. I would check the brushes in the dynamo, if it is a dynamo. If it's a flywheel alternator, check the diodes.

After the shooting the hunter will start cutting the deer and removing the viscera. There are some methods of cutting the deer which a hunter needs to know in order to maintain the quality of the meat.
Many hunters try to bleed their deer by cutting the neck in order to sever various veins and arteries. I have seen deer with the head cut nearly off by hunters in an attempt to bleed the animal. This is a useless mutilation of the carcass, for dead animals will not bleed. The proper procedure is to insert a knife blade into the lung cavity through the thin skin and tissue at the base of the throat, thus draining the blood from this cavity. This is not necessary if the viscera are removed in the woods, although this cut should never be made if there is any possibility that the head might be used for mounting. It has been a good many years since I have tried to bleed deer except by shooting them in the place that would cause the most thorough bleeding.
The first step in removing the viscera is to split the skin and abdominal wall from the tip of the breastbone to the pelvic bone, being careful not to cut into the stomach or into the intestines. This may be done by placing the deer on its back with the shoulders slightly higher than the hips and cutting a slit large enough to insert two fingers at the tip of the breastbone. Insert two fingers with a knife blade between them into this slit and cut to the pelvic bone, using the fingers to keep the internal organs away from the cutting edge of the knife. Some people continue this cut between the rear legs and around the anus. I do not do this because it exposes some of the best of the meat to contamination.
After this cut is completed, roll the animal on its side with the open belly slightly down hill so that the organs will have a chance to protrude slightly. Run the hand between the organs and the abdominal wall to loosen the former where necessary and then find and take a firm grip on the gullet as far from the stomach as possible. Sometimes this can be torn by pulling, but I prefer to cut it with a knife. A pocket knife is safer to use than the awkward large-bladed hunting knife. After the gullet is cut, the stomach, with the intestines still attached, may be brought outside of the body. This makes room enough so that the hunter may reach into the pelvic cavity and sever the lower intestine. Before making this cut, press any matter that may be present out through the anus. Keep a tight grip on the intestine until it is removed from the animal. The entire alimentary tract should be removable as soon as this cut is made. Remove the bladder in the same manner as the lower intestine. If this organ should be full, gentle pressure will usually reduce the contents in a normal manner.
Many hunters cut around the vent, tie this with a string and draw it through the pelvic cavity with the intestines. The only objection I have to this procedure is that more meat area is exposed to dirt, flies and other contamination. And, for the same reason, I do not remove the external sex organs until I am ready to skin the deer.
If a hunter wants to drain the blood from the deer before cutting the meat, the better idea is by inserting the knife into the lung cavity through the skin and tissue at the base of the throat, thus draining the blood from this cavity.

Where are the rear grease fittings on a John Deere LA115 Lawn Tractor?
I sell these where I work but I can't picture it right now. Call your John Deere dealer service partner and they should be able to tell you. Most likely there is a sticker on the Mower behind the seat that has their phone number on it.

Methods to Shoot a Deer
When going for hunting not only looks for the deer but you can also have good time walking quietly. And you could be easily confused when you have many deer tracks. Knowledge of deer habit could be of great use in this case. The deer can hide themselves even while running from you in front of you in the fields or places with dead dry bushes. Many sharp eyes hunters are also sometimes puzzled by the way the deer could hide themselves.
I have seen many standing deer in the woods. Some of them before they saw me, but probably five times as many have seen me first and all that I saw of them were a flag, bounding off through the woods. Some of these deer were practically invisible; while others were so obvious that it didn't seem possible that they were wild animals. I have seen a few deer that neither ran at my approach nor stood to be identified, but that tried to sneak off before I could see them.
These deer are the most difficult to identify and shoot. They move silently, without raising their flag, and are usually partly obscured by underbrush. All that the hunter sees is an indistinct shadow which disappears even as he looks; leaving him unsure that he has seen anything until he finds the track where he saw the shadow. I cannot remember shooting any of the deer that have sneaked away from me in this manner.
Anybody who travels the woods quietly in search of deer will have an enjoyable time, and if he is in a section where deer are plentiful, has a good chance of bagging a deer. The actual trailing, overtaking and shooting of a deer is a difficult and often disappointing method. It can be done if there is a good tracking snow and if there are not too many other deer tracks to confuse the hunter. Very few hunters can resist following the trail of a deer that they have jumped yet failed to shoot. Knowledge of deer habits can be of great value in obtaining a shot when trailing these deer.
When first jumped, a deer seldom travels far before stopping to learn if whatever startled it is something, which will follow, or some harmless accidental encounter. It will run for a short distance and then will stop, usually on some elevated spot to watch its back trail without being seen from that trail, waiting until it can determine the hunter's intentions. This is probably the best chance that the hunter will have, for some time, and it will pay him to be doubly cautious in locating and approaching the spot where the animal is waiting. Both deer and man are on the alert and no hunter need be ashamed of a deer that is shot under these circumstances.
Usually when I jump a deer, I do not follow directly on the trail, but note the direction of the deer's flight. Then I move down wind for a short distance, not over a hundred yards, and less when in thick brush, and travel in the same direction. This often brings into view a deer that is hidden from any point on its trail and creates an uncertainty, in the deer's mind, as to my intentions. This will, sometimes, give me the opportunity for a standing shot. As I am down wind from the deer, it lacks my scent and it seldom depends on sight alone to warn it of danger. Since I am not directly on the track, there is the possibility that I am unaware of, or indifferent to, its presence. Its natural curiosity, together with its indecision, often causes it to wait long enough for me to spot it before it can make up its mind to run.
The deer have good ways of confusing us in tracking them. You have to be very cautious about the way you follow them and make a good use of your chance to shoot them. Making yourself comfortable to shoot the deer anytime it appears will help you to hunt the deer better. here are times when I don't recognize the deer and before I am aware of their presence I could only notice their shadows running. They some times look like more of a dry leaves or woods than deer having their foods.

Should I buy a John Deere Tractor?
I have a 5 acre farmette. I am looking at a 30 HP John Deere with a front loader, finish mower and Snow Blade. A brand new 2006 runs $22K. Should I go with a John Deere or another brand?
Also should I get the pull behind snow blade, or the one that mounts on the front loader?
Sounds like a wise purchase (JD 790-?).
I would get the 3pt blade on the back, if room permits for storage, it is handy with snow removal to have the front loader and rear blade. Blade scrapes it and then the loader piles it high. It is also helpful for leveling and landscaping projects.
